Science has always inspired my work, but what has really excited me is the intersection of art and science. I am interested in how scientists can use art as a communicative tool and how artists can be inspired by science to create innovation within concepts and design.

Using science as a means of exploration and research and combining this with a creative outlook, HB designs aims to produce jewellery that sparks intrigue.

Inspired by all areas of science the focus of interest can be anything from old scientific instruments, to the inner workings of the human body.

Imaginative pieces are realised through the incorporation of curious materials and the majority of work has an interactive element.

Each piece awaits further inspection when the undiscovered beauties can be revealed to the beholder.
