The exploration of 3D woven textiles and embellishment are recurring themes throughout my work.

A particular focus on form and texture through drawing, fabric manipulation and mark making underline my design process.

Surface manipulation using various contrasting materials, including metal, cord, leather, silk and wool, allow for constant experimentation and eclectic concepts to be explored.

In my collection 'The Restricted Body' I have investigated both the rigid structure of fastenings; recording how separate elements are joined, as well as organic forms that possess distorted qualities.

By uniting these differing concepts, I explore yarn and structure distortion and restriction within my woven designs for womenswear fashion.
