I am interested in the structure of materials and the memory and energies they hold, often-using fabrics as metaphors within my artwork.

Recently I have primarily focussed on the form, structure and purpose of disposable egg trays, as an ephemeral object, being interested in what they represents as a form of protection and insulation against fragility.

Using the egg trays as a sculpting material, has led on to developing other works in weave and printing onto light sheets. Making an ephemeral moment visible.

In past works I have used film, photography and sculpture within installations, exploring different media and use of objects, as feels appropriate.
