Cupido
This piece has been blown to shape and then using punty irons pulled into the spikes representing the metamorphosis of a butterfly leaving its cocoon. The Latin name cupido is the name of a large blue butterfly.
Metamorphosis
The concept behind these pieces were that the 'Beauty' within the caterpillar is hidden and then when cut they metamorpsis' and show there true beauty beneath.
Junonia
The pieces prior to this were done in opaque colours trying to capture the beauty inside the pieces, however evolved into using transparent colours, therefore letting the light through the glass and giving it many qualities. I think the contrast betwee
