Fascinated by enamelling I aim to combine this ancient process with contemporary design and practices.

Handcrafting has become an essential part of my making process, influencing design as pieces are formed or enamelled. By using traditional making methods and numerous enamel types and techniques, tweaking ensues - pieces change and develop organically,  resulting in the creation of individual jewellery which can never be exactly duplicated.

Recently, shadow, silhouette and layers have informed ideas and design, referring not just to shifting light, but to things hidden - things in things and sometimes to matters more personal and solid.
