I have recently graduated from Northumbria University with a degree in Fashion Marketing, which has provided me with a wide range of skills, from illustration and photography to pattern cutting. I am a committed and adaptable individual with an eye for detail, and an enthusiasm to learn.

Over the past two years I have specialised in lingerie and loungewear design, resulting in my final design realisation, Opal Lingerie.

Industry Experience

During my placement year, I undertook an internship at Marks & Spencers, based in the children's nightwear and underwear team as a design assistant. As well as encouraging me to develop my design and CAD skills, I gained an invaluable insight into how a large company was run. The role also assisted me in developing excellent communication skills and a strong commercial awareness.

After completing a placement in the childrenswear department, I also spent a number of weeks working within the Ladies Lingerie team.

Upon finishing my studies, I am looking forward to beginning a career with Gilly Hicks, as an Assistant Designer.
