‘The body becomes lifeless when the soul has left it, in the same way that the shell becomes incapable of moving when it is separated from the part that gives it life.‘

Gaston Bachelard, Poetics of Space

The structure dictates and responds to the body’s intuitive movement, exploring our experience, interaction and definition of space and photographs capture static stages of movement and geometry usually unseen.

The wearable pieces, shown in 9ct Gold, retain the proportions and mechanism on a small scale, capturing the inquisitive, surprising and playful essence of the performance work.
