My work is largely influenced on my drawings and the translation from this medium into stitch or print. The combination of the two can create exciting, new effects that work harmoniously together!

Hand embroidery and print are the main components of my work, however, the use of hand drawing is paramount in the way I develop and produce designs. Many of my designs are then manipulated by the use of Adobe Photoshop and Illusrator.

I am inspired by the shapes and creations from science, normally such instruments as microscopes and telescopes have featured in my projects. I then juxtapose this with another contrasting feature such as film or the domestic, such as quilting and soft textures, all are beautiful in their aesthetics.

I have skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and CAD Generations programme for embroidery.
