A recent graduate from Birmingham City University with a BA (Hons) in Textile design specialising in Constructed Textiles.

Jessica is hardworking and ambitious designer seeking a career in the textile and fashion industry.

The inspiration for the final collection 'Epidermis' stems from the concept of adaption and replication of animal skin.

Concentrating on styling a collection that illustrates colourings enriched with iridescent effects. Constructing knitted trimmings that embody the qualities and characteristics of feathers such as fringing through the use of silk yarns to create hairy textures.

Taking inspiration from furs and skins of animals has subsequently led to a range of knitted fashion swatches that have focal points on edges and tassles.
