Colour Work
By Taking inspiration from pointillism and peacock feathers I am able to use fine gauge machines to produce a delicate and detailed fabric with a spec
Parachutes
I have studied how parachutes look when relaxed and when they were caught by the air. This lead me to connecting and pulling fabric in ways which changed the drape of the garment.
Fastenings
Knitwear can adapt to and work with the body in many different ways. The skirt can change in shape depending on how it is fastened, whilst the tension of back of the dress can change from loose to tight depending on the models pose.
Beads
My beading is taught to me by my Grandmother. It has inspired my knitwear designs heavily by enabling me to create jewelery which has a purpose and reason for being on the garment whether it be for shaping or for colour.
