Dissertation: The Sexual Politics of 1950's Textile Design.

I have found that creating patterns has always come naturally and hence I tend to be prolific in my production of designs. 

I draw and collage to produce designs that are unfussy and graphic in a modernist way but my use of colour and softened shapes gives a more feminine quality.

I love screen printing, and feel that this is the best way to display my designs, although many also work well in digital. I design mainly for interiors but by playing with scale my designs also work for fashion and accessories.
