Julie Rotimi specialises in bold pieces of wearable art. Dedicated to creating designs that are innovative and edgy she continually challenges the language of jewellery and how it is displayed on the body.  

Award winning designer Julie graduated from the University for Creative Arts in 2011 with a First Class BA Hons in Goldsmithing, Silversmithing and Jewellery after studying Fashion Jewellery for 2 years at the Sir John Cass Department. 

As a child, Julie loved horror films and for her debut collection, she explores the concept of emotional fear and drawing on inspirations from horror films and medieval torture the ‘Punisher’ collection was born. The collection combines aggression and elegance as well as being emotive. 

 “My vision is to create simplistic edgy luxurious jewellery which is interesting to wear, either by how it is worn or its interaction with the wearer.”  

JRJ will be exhibiting with Jewel East as part of London Jewellery Week at Old  Spitalsfield Market on 15 - 17th June and New Designers ‘One Year On’  weeek 1.
