June Morrison is a glass artist who recently has been exploring the combination of glass with bone china. 

She graduated with a Bachelor of Design and Applied Art in Glass from Edinburgh College of Art in 2009 and received the Helen A. Rose bequest award for outstanding degree show work.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Design and Applied Art in Glass from Edinburgh College of Art in 2009 and received the Helen A. Rose bequest award for outstanding degree show work.

She obtained her MFA with distinction from ECA in June 2011 and received the Clason-Harvie Bursary.

In addition to her formal glass education, June has attended master classes at Northlands Creative Glass in Scotland, with Colin Reid at his studio in Stroud and Pilchuck Glass School, in Stanwood, Washington, USA following a scholarship she was awarded to study there.

She was shortlisted for the 2011 Stanislav Libensky Award and spent two weeks at the Gyeonggi International Ceramix Biennale as an invited participant in the 10 DAYS International Ceramix Workshop in South Korea.

Some of her recent work has been selected for the British Glass Biennale 2012.  She is currently producing new work after being selected for ‘Cultural Exchange’, the 33rd Scottish Glass Society Exhibition which coincides with the Northlands Creative Glass Conference in September 2012.
