The brief was to create an original and inspiring collection for our final year at Northumbria University. My inspiration developed from looking at the layers and components of human anatomy. I was drawn to the interweaving lines and shapes of muscle.

I wanted to create a contemporary collection for Pringle consisting largely of knitwear, contrasting fine, weblike knit tops with chunky, almost sculpted cardigans. Pieces are kept classic but with a subtle twist. 

I looked to maintain the Abercrombie and Fitch design ethos alongside my themes of American sportwear, still keeping the look light and feminine with the introduction of vintage lace.
