Hello, my name is Kayleigh and I am currently completing my Textile Degree at De Montfort University in Leicester.

I specialise in digital print mixed media Textiles for the Interior market, using traditional, digital and contemporary techniques to create sophisticated, innovatie and fresh designs.

My work is inspired by culture, sub culture, history and literature from the Industrial revolution to contemporary designers such as Kenzo Missoni and Ceri Isaac.

Throughout university I have done work experience at Tate Liverpool and worked with Jill Flower. Recently I have been nominated for the Texprint Competition and in the near future will be applying to other Textile competitions.

In the future I would to like to travel the world and start projects inspired by them to develop my CAD and print skills, so I can teach people at college or University level.

Also, I would like to do a master degree in Textiles to push my print and mixed media skills further once I have developed my work from travelling and out of the studio environment.
