I specialise in creating textiles for fashion fabrics using a combination of print, embroidery and fabric manipulation.

I focus on using innovative materials throughout my collections to create textured and exciting surfaces; adding a three dimensional quality to all my work. Drawing is a strong design component in all my collections helping to define colour and pattern. By combining my hand drawings with CAD technology I am able to translate my initial ideas into three dimensional fabrics.

The main inspiration for my work is drawn from different cultures and their surroundings. I use textiles as a medium to broaden my knowledge of other countries and their heritage. Japanese culture has been the main focus for my body of work throughout the past year, inspired by the country's beautiful aesthetic landscapes and symbolic imagery.
