My name is Kirsten Wotherspoon and have studied fashion design for the past five years.

I studied at Cardonald college where i learnt the basics of sewing and pattern cutting etc and then furthered my studies at Edinburgh College of Art.

I have many skills in fashion including, design, pattern cutting, creative cutting on the stand, garment production, styling and accessorie production.

Other skills i gained studying at ECA include CAD and Photoshop skills.

I also gained experience in managing and organising backstage at the end of term fashion show. Other responsibilites included dressing, styling and calling models all the while ensuring that the shows were running smoothly and on time.

I recenlty designed, made and showcased my latest collection called "Its better with the ligths on" at the end of term fashion show at Edinburgh College of Art. The collection consisted of six oufits that were inspired by imagery of lighting and shadow.
