I have designed this collection with a strong focus on the interstitial spaces created by buildings and other structures along with an emphasis on extending beyond traditional approaches to jewellery making.

My inspiration stems from my photography of industrial areas of Glasgow and countries across Africa. I have manipulated these photographs in order to highlight repetitive sequences and the subtleties of enclosed negative spaces. By dissecting and magnifying specific areas I have created a variety of intriguing and never-ending patterns with a lively and experimental quality.

Each piece in this collection is a miniature sculpture with strong architectural presence and graphical potential.
