I work with fragility by using porcelain paperclay and I experiment with the transformative qualities of light, texture and shadow. Progress throughout my degree has allowed me to realise the close personal connection I have with my work. 

The fragility reflects a fragile nature. I have a tendency to create half spheres. Perhaps this is because they are structured and nest-like, a form of protection. Vulnerability and sensitivity in a person can be difficult; however, sensitivity is a hidden strength as it allows creativity.
