My work throughout my final year was heavily influenced by the relationship between cloth and body, while experimenting and exposing concepts within seduction, movement and performance sports.

My personal design approach is more than often unconventional rather than straight forward. I find inspiration is researching methods of finishings garments (such as zips, weights of threads, buckles etc) rather than initially considering silhouette. My fascination with form sets the foundation with specific attention paid to seductive parts of the anatomy.

My design style is most commonly influenced by menswear and how experimental it can be within areas of contemporary and traditional tailoring. My work tends to showcase large flowing forms juxtaposed with harsh linear contemporary tailoring. Within each outfit a sense of contrast often seems integral.

The nature of my course has also developed my skills in Photoshop and Illustrator, both of which are essential to overall success of my work.

I have also completed two seasons at Peter Pilotto, AW10 & SS10/11
