A textile designer specialising in screen print, digital print and knitted textiles. This is the textile process that excites me the most.

I take pleasure in experimenting and learning about different knitting techniques, whether from books, tutors or self taught.

Inspiration for projects is often gained through my own photography which is adjusted until the desired look, composition and effect is achieved.

I have a particular interest in lingerie and how the female form is manipulated by everyday lingerie products.

Also by unconventional materials such as tape, rope and plastic which produce some rather graphic and daring images.

The contrast between these materials and luxury fabrics such as cashmere, silk and lace has also been inspiring and I look forward to experimenting with this concept further.

I am a quick learner and open–minded. I thoroughly enjoy being around a wide variety of people, get pleasure from helping others as well as learning from them. I believe that if something is worth doing, it is worth doing right!
