Within my final colletion I have a range of structured tailoring pieces including dresses and jackets; the garments have angular sections which also come away from the main body and join back in elsewhere. This creates structure and interesting shapes which were originally inspired from looking at origami.

Within nearly all the garments I have used bright, bold, colourful print designs, which have been inspired by the movement of insects' wings and droplets and splashes in water.

I have used chunky hand knit to create sculptural shoulder pieces using unusual yarns. Intricate laddered machine knit imitating the delicate wings of a butterfly is in contrast to the structured pieces.
