‘Pixelace’

This body of work has been inspired by the shapes and patterns found in lace. I was intrigued by how this historical craft had been brought into the 21st century and become geometric in its outcomes. As a result of this I decided to experiment with pixel like shapes with the intention of creating fabrics for interiors. 

'Geological Forms and Structures'

The inspiration behind this project was a trip to Mount Teide. I was inspired by the lines of colour and texture of the rock. I then interpret the textures of the rock into different knitted stitches. 

I am passionate about a variety of textile techniques but my key skills are machine knit, hand knit, laser cutting, fabric dyeing and CAD. I work very systematically and because of this produce textiles of quality.
