I think a Textile Designer should look beyond the present and inspire future trends.

My way of working is to push the boundaries within Textile Design, combining traditional and contemporary techniques to create something new.

I have a strong cross disciplinary approach within my designs, always looking for new ways to combine embroidery with print, laser and digital processes.

My final project explores the relationship between textiles and technology creating smart fabrics to add a 3D element and working with fibre optics to push innovation.
