As a designer the most important thing to me is drawing. It is an integral part of my work as all of my designs stem from them. My style has developed over the years and now has a very naïve quality to it, which adds character to my work.

I design mostly with children’s products in mind, whether that’s interior products or homewares. Although I feel it is important not to limit myself to this alone.

I enjoy using colour and created patterns to fill my drawings on the computer. I usually work on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, however I regard myself as a versatile person and also enjoy lino printing and appliqué embroidery.

I believe my designs appeal to adults and children alike, as they are quirky and bright. I am looking forward to my next opportunity to develop my skills further, doing work placements and freelance work.
