A hybrid textile designer technically proficient in producing woven, knitted and digital print collections. With a quirky, off-beat style, I merge clashing colour stories with contemporary pattern effects producing youthful, creative looks.

I’m interested in designing for bespoke capsule collections and innovative one-off’s but also have a good understanding of commercial design and team work. I am currently a cross-discipline designer in residence at University of Ulster, Belfast and welcome collaborations particularly for the development of capsule collections and employment prospects.

Skills

- Weave (8-24 shaft patterns, Scotweave and computerised dobby)
- Knit (single and double bed knit, Passap and Dubied)
- Competent in CAD design (repeat patterns, digital prints)
- Understanding of pattern cutting and garment construction
- Design writing and critical analysis
- Fabric and functionality
