With an innate passion for painting, animals and plants, I have created a collection of charismatic scarves accompanied by distinctive prints that narrate an exotic story of 'Flora and the Wild'.

All of my designs derive from intricate gouache paintings of beautiful flowers and wild animals which are arranged in Photoshop to create exciting compositions and prints.

Through means of a digital printer, my paintings are then translated onto delicate silks and wools. On these fabrics the painterly qualities are retained to ensure my designs evoke my creative bent and my fine-art influences are conveyed.

My artworks make for a unique collection of fabrics, but the original artworks suggest an affinity with paper too, and are as precious as the designs.

With inspiration stemming from a diverse range of sources including traditional oil paintings, exotic fashion prints and illustration, I am as enthused by traditional artworks and methods of printing as I am by innovation. 

My collection will be exhibited at 'Ready or Not, Here We Come', Leeds College of Art, 18th-23rd June 2011 and at New Designers, London, 27th June-2nd July 2011.
