I am an imaginative Fashion Designer whose work sits in the hybrid space across the three-dimensional design landscape.

Having studied Fashion for the past five years, I graduated in 2009 with 1st BA Honors in Fashion/Textiles, from U.W.E in Bristol. Now London based, I have just completed my MA in Fashion at Kingston University.

In the past I have shown at Graduate Fashion week and by the end of this year will have exhibited at both Vauxhall Fashion Scout and Tent London.

Within my practice, the silhouettes and shapes I use are derived f­rom exploring the transition of forms and shapes from flat to 3D and how these work both on the human form and in the negative space that surrounds it.

Utilizing these specific design methodologies, to create pieces that blur the lines between clothing, product, body adornment and three-dimensional structure.

They are not to be defined as one ‘thing’, multifunction is a key theme throughout my work, with pieces that can not only be worn/used in one way, but many.

My work is as much about process as it is about product. Particularly with my MA project ‘Modu_gram’ I looked in depth at the generative series, how we assemble, create, perform and transform as an infinite and continuous series in itself. Exploring the interrelation and interplay between 3D structural shapes and forms with the body central, within the process of creation new silhouettes emerge and counter forms that arise through human interaction and engagement.
