Weathered and Worn
Taking inspiration from weathered buildings, the focus of this project was to capture the inky colours and textural qualities of weathered surfaces. Through exploring dye processes and weave structures I created a range of innovative fabrics
Flat to Folded
Taking inspiration from geometric patterns in architecture, I began my project by exploring Origami and paper-folding techniques, which developed into laser-cut pieces for wallpapers and lighting. My experimentations with paper also informed the structures and patterns I created in my woven fabrics.
