I design and make textiles using machine knitting, embroidery and printing, and I like to combine these processes. I aim for a tactile quality in my work and I like to use natural, renewable materials. I am particularly keen on using wool as it is so versatile and I am very interested in its use in business interiors such as libraries, reception areas and restaurants as it has good acoustic properties. I am passionate about colour and often dye my own yarns. I make work for business and domestic interiors as well as fashion.My inspiration is always from the shapes and forms that I find in nature and I use photography and drawing for the design process.
