Paper is as important a material to me as glass is as it provides me with the ability to explore and develop my work in a tactile way.

Part of my current collection of work I imagine to be small 'finds' that fit comfortably in your hand or pocket until they finally make it into your shelf or into the cabinet of curiosities with the other mementoes from previous explorations.

My larger core cast sculptures start life as hand built wax models and feature a core or 'void' created from plaster shaped by manipulated paper. These pieces represent my intrigue and awe of dramatic landscapes and I aim to reward the curious by showing them a form that is intriguing from all angles just as if you were travelling through the landscape yourself.
