My style of work sees illustrative drawings transformed into mixed media compositions full of pattern and colour; designs are quirky and fun whilst also commenting on current environmental and social issues. 

Inspired by a love of 'The Great Outdoors', urban landscapes and local wildlife.

Whilst at university my passion for embroidery constantly developed into new ways of showing the subject in a contemporary setting, combining hand embroidery with hard materials and illustration.

My final major project saw traditional blackwork embroidery being applied to contemporary furniture, functional interior products and waterproofed fabrics.

I strive to show the medium of textiles in a new and fresh light.
