I am a textiles graduate specialising in surface design from Buckinghamshire New University.

Bio-Mesh work is a collection of surfaces investigating the potential of mesh structures. A theme inspired by a study of the Cornish China Clay industry. A manufactured landscape of exposed and unearthed material, it has great visual appeal generating ideas for interior solutions. Interpreted into cut layers of colour and line to create subtle tonal mesh work with print and spray effects creating illusive 3D effects. Using paper and various techniques such as, digital and hand print, laser, hand, punched and plotted cutting.  

Mesh appeals as a transparent and breathable surface, light is essential to its function, ideal for screens or blinds that can be altered to reveal or conceal parts of the decorative design.
