Fashion illustration
Context illustration of an acid dyed piece of silk georgette. Fabric has been burnt out with devore and hand painted with printing adhesive. Flitter glitter has then been heat pressed onto adhesive, creating the gold effect.
Mark making with foil.
Acid dyed organza, with hand painted adhesive detailing, which has them been heat pressed with foil. Fabrics are a expermentation, of colour and mark making, communicating a feeling of fun and play for the wearer.
Block Devore
Velvet devore piece, acid dyed orange, and then dip dyed with a darker shade of orange. Burnt out stripes contain foil and flitter glitter detailing. The velvet has been heat pressed in places to create a two-tone effect. Images above show fabric in context at an exhibition, as well as a close up look at the fabric detailing.
Collage digital print, with foil highlights.
Collage that has been digitally printed onto crepe de chine. I have then added adhesive detailing, and rendered it with both foil and flitter glitter.
