Fear of the unknown, exploration and childhood obsessions with post-apocalyptic worlds have been my inspiration for investigating decayed, abandoned and neglected buildings.

Central concerns are time, memory and revealing environments that have been transformed into a shell of their former glory.

The eerie deafening silence, chaotic clutter and physical decay make my work more about the documentation of these areas and my physicality of being there witnessing the tension.

I chose digital photography to document the emotion and accurate detail without being there; but I am more passionate about handcrafted products, using an amalgamation of digital photography and hand-pulled printmaking, resulting in photo-positive lithography.

I have specialised in printmaking as I crave order and precision within my work and my perfectionist tendencies benefit all stages of creation.
