I am an independent designer living and working in the UK. The projects I take on cover products, furniture and interiors but they all have the common threads of materiality and our relationship to the physical object.

Design is democratic and is about improving people's lives at either an emotional or functional level.

I have worked with private clients to develop interiors that reflect who they want to be, with organisations who use designing and making as a way to give people a sense of purpose and achievement and with therapists to develop objects that deal with abstract psychological concepts.

The main image in this portfolio is of the Recovery Toolkit. This is a collection of tools to support people recovering from depression.
