I am inspired by the incredible range of structures and colours within natural forms. The scale within forms is also of great importance to me and I am excited by the limitless possibilities from large scale to incredibly close up details which can be interpreted in the medium of glass. 

Glass itself has a very natural fluid motion when being shaped and formed and is therefore an excellent material to express movement and fragility.

Glass making can be a very individual response to a brief, but it can also allow people to work together in teams to create works of glass that could not be produced by a single person enabling artists to share ideas and learn from each other. 

While in university I have made forms that range from being very sculptural and one off, to small scale batch production of products for fundraising and interior bespoke installations intended for homes and businesses.

In my spare time I am a keen photographer and rockclimber. These activities allow me to challange myself physically and mentally which has a positive impact on my work as it helps me to push myself and my ideas towards a goal.
