I am a textile designer/maker who specialises in creating motifs and repeat patterns from hand drawn illustrations and collages. My most recent work is based on my travelling experiences inter-railing around Europe in the summer of 2009 and a recent trip back to Amsterdam. 

For the majority of my prints and motifs, I start with a hand drawn illustration. I have a specific drawing style using fine liners, which makes my drawings very easy to manipulate on the computer. I also enjoy using collage within my work, which I then draw on top of, creating images with interesting and exciting backgrounds. I use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to manipulate my drawings, creating repeated patterns and one off motifs. These designs can then be used in a variety of outcomes.

2007-2010 Swansea Metropolitan University - BA (Hons) Surface Pattern Design: Contemporary Applied Arts.
2006-2007 The Arts Institute at Bournemouth - Foundation in Art and Design.
2004-2006 Brockenhurst College - A Levels in Textiles, Psychology and Sociology.
