Passionate textile designer with extensive skills in all areas of the print room. I have sampled a diverse range of media and technique and feel the skills I have acquired are transferable to all areas of the textile industry. I am a keen hand drawer and use this skill and my knowledge of CAD software to create desirable sophisticated textile applications.

Work Experience

The Print Studio, County Durham, UK
Working with a freelance womenswear textile designer. Designing for a wide spectrum of market levels from budget to luxury, clients included Florence & Fred, Top Shop, Monsoon and DKNY.

Responsibilities included: Swatch development, printing and dyeing fabric, surface embellishment including beadwork and fabric manipulation, photographing and logging of work, preparing and packing swatches for shipment.
