I have a great passion for translating concepts into end products with an experimental and original approach. Constant refinement and enhancement are very important to me. I have strong Photoshop skills, alongside flat and technical drawing skills, gained both from university and placement experience.

During my placement year I worked for Junky Styling, a high-end, ethically minded company, Renee London, a high street designer, and Middlearth, a company that designs garments for various high street stores such as John Lewis and River Island.

Working in both commercial and niche markets, I experienced a wide variety of the processes within the fashion industry. I had the responsibility of designing garments, several of which were chosen for high street retailers.

I also gained considerable experience in pattern cutting and making garments, giving me the ability to develop more practical and realistic designs when it comes to production.
