As soon as I start designing an object, whether it be large or small furniture, I explore everything from proportions to joint detailing.

Longevity is very important as I believe furniture is an investment, so I will explore how the user interacts with the given object and which materials are best suited for both durability and aesthetics.

Although I design furniture to last, my practise is more about giving furniture a personality by designing something slightly quirky but at the same time, highly functional and practical.

I aim to create beautiful and exciting designs for batch production and one offs, by questioning how much we value our furniture and how such an everyday item can be made more appealing giving it a new lease of life and giving us an enjoyable experience every time round.
