Nadine Reid is a textile artist who is also a gardener; her textiles are inspired by nature found in the suburban garden.

From her drawings and photographs of the surfaces and small insignificant pieces of garden debris, she can see colour and interesting textures and she is able to recreate in fabrics with colour and stitch.

Nadine wants her textiles to be touchable and remind us of the ephemeral nature of the garden and to be used as soft furnishings in the home.

Nadine is a creative and well motivated graduate who studied textile design at BCU. As a calm and organised embroiderer she has good technical skills and she is looking for a career in a creative environment with new challenges.
