Creating an elegant, contemporary eveningwear collection has been the focus of my final year at Ravensbourne studying BA Fashion (Womenswear).  

Exploration into drape and creative pattern cutting, combined with a distinct understanding of colour and surface textiles has led to a cohesive collection.  

Having been tutored by Peggy Umpelby (beader for Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana) I have learned the couture technique of tambour beading in order to hand bead my collection.  

My graduate collection has been sponsored  by  Swarovski Elements which has allowed me to fully realise my creative designs.  

I admire craftsmanship and the importance of design for the luxury market.  Continually illustrating and oil painting, I established the research and colour palette for my collection through the most creative means.  

I have a good grasp of both digital printing and screen printing.  I have a tactile and hands-on way of working and find sampling and research inspiring.  

Working at Teatum Jones has given me a firm understanding of the production process as well as the level of organisation required in a pressured and fast moving environment.  

Creative, professional and extremely dedicated, I feel ready to offer my skills within a luxury design environment.
