My research into traditional weaving and loom evolution when woven cloth was highly valued and early weavers in every culture designed garments to efficiently employ the entire cloth relates to todays increasing concern for the environment and push for sustainable practices.

As a designer I am interested in increasing my hand weaving knowledge to make it relevant to today’s modern industry and keep the traditional techniques alive.
