My name is Natalie Shabtai,28 years old. 2012 graduate at the 'Jewelry design' department of Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, Ramat gan, Israel.

In my portfolio here you can taste a bit of my final project at Shenkar which deals reality the way I see it from my own experiences in life.

The design of this collection has emerged from an observation of new forms and identities born out of natural process of degeneration and regeneration.

Created by using classic jewelry crafting techniques, the different pieces embody simple lines and geometrical shapes alongside erosion, damages and crumbling of metal, thus representing the dimension of time.

The combination of these two design elements corresponds with the musical term "counterpoint" which involves the merger of separate and independent motifs into a unified and harmonious texture.
