My final year collection is a combination of screen-printed and digitally printed fabrics, designed specifically for menswear fashion.

I drew visual inspiration from the abandoned buildings and rugged landscape of my birthplace in the Shetland Islands; focusing on recreating the textured and layered surface qualities through drawing, pattern exploration and combinations of interesting print techniques.

The techniques used in this particular project were procion printing, hand dyeing (acid/procion/dyrect), devore, discharge, foil and flock, in addition to digital print. Techniques were applied to a broad selection of quality fabrics.
