My degree collection - ‘I am the Jumper’ -is inspired by ‘ganseys’, traditional fishermen’s jumpers in coastal communities, and heritage textiles.

Adding and subtracting from the surface using print techniques, such as devore, flock and foil, and embroidery my prints explore subtle surface texture and a vanishing folklore in a whimsical manner.

Alongside creating my own degree collection I have collaborated with Marie Leiknes in Fashion on a six-piece knitwear collection showcasing the hidden work behind knit.

I am interested in history, reinventing and reinterpreting the past for current fashion. I am a natural problem solver with an inquisitive approach to technique and colour.

I am materials-based, enjoy time labouring techniques and like to challenge print room traditions.
