Although I have a love for all areas of textiles, after studying at Chelsea College of Art and Design I chose to specialise in the area of knit. With a passion for constructive and structural textiles, I chose knit as a challenging and creative process which would enable me to explore this concept further.

Focusing mainly on the hand technique of crochet for my final major project, I was able to discover how through the manipulation of materials such as wood and ceramics, I was able to bring the age old craft into a contemporary vision.

With a keen eye for attention to detail, I particularly enjoy working intricately on time consuming designs. An experimental exploration into three dimensional knit, I aim to produce bespoke garment and jewellery pieces using a combination of exciting materials and traditional techniques.
