I am a Surface Pattern Designer, based near Brighton, and have just finished my degree at Staffordshire University, achieving a First Class Honours.

I am inspired by a variety of things, from charity shop knick-knacks and surrealism, to ethnic patterns and the qualities of nature. I am also inspired by textiles from the 50′s, particularly conversational patterns.

My work mainly consists of quirky conversational elements such as animals, people and transport.

I like to think my work is fun, original, likeable, and illustrative.

I work mainly with collage and paint, and drawing underpins all of my work, but I am also a competent user of Photoshop. I enjoy designing for a range of surfaces from greetings cards to scarves.
