My work centres upon hand drawings taken from primary research. I take immense enjoyment from drawing, and developing these drawings into patterns and repeats, both by hand and through the use of Adobe Photoshop.

The hand drawn and handmade element to my work is important to me when developing my fabrics. I am passionate about traditional silk screen-printing, layering textile processes and techniques to create beautiful and unique fabrics for fashion.

I am obsessive about detail when drawing and enjoy the freedom and unexpected results that can be created when screen-printing and the decision making involved in this design process.

My projects always begin with extensive research drawn from a wide range of sources, which I then develop ideas from and build a body of drawings.
